JOIN CANGLES IN SUPPORTING THESE CHARITABLE ORGANIZATIONS
Yes ─ Cangles cares about restoring and preserving Earth’s natural resources, providing a cleaner environment for us and our children and grandchildren. We also think it’s just plain smart to reuse and recycle whenever possible. But beyond those ideals, we share your love and concern for our fellow humans who inhabit the earth with us. “Social Responsibility” is a term we hear a lot about, but that suggests a burden or obligation. The donations we make, whether as a percentage of sales or with gifts of jewelry, are something we want to do. As a family, it genuinely gives an added depth of meaning to our work. Please take the time to learn about the following nonprofit groups.
Read about the work of Save the Earth Foundation and Cangles' involvement with them on our Green Links page. The unique "bracelets with a message" we make for them are sold right here on our site! A complete accounting of their enviromental work may be found at www.savetheearth.org.
We’re now offering message bracelets for the good people at A Lasting World, a small but dedicated 501(c)(3). They're available in the Cause Jewelry category. In the following paragraph please read about their Camp H.O.P.E., where children from Appalachia spend a week in a fun-filled atmosphere that fosters environmental awareness. If you believe in what they’re doing, consider supporting them by purchasing a bracelet. We make these specifically to help them. The donation we make on your behalf will be appreciated more than you know. Thank you!

In addition, (a) they host hands-on environmental activities such as tree plantings, clean-up days, conferences and programs in order to provide its members with effective means of protecting the environment;(b) a holiday giving project for poverty-stricken Appalachian families in Kentucky; (c) environmental education through a monthly online newsletter, environmental lectures, workshops, family hikes, classroom visits, etc; (d) fundraising opportunities that promote the environment and benefit the people of Appalachia, Kentucky.
